Messenger Prayer

Consider the following prayer

God, I believe You have called me to become a messenger for You. I want my life to make a difference for You, God. I know this life is not about me and what I want, but it is about You, giving my heart to You and serving You in every way that I can. God, show me what You would have me do for You. Lord, You tell us in Your Word in Mark 16:15 KJV to go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. God, if it is important enough for You to say it, then that is what I want to do for You Lord. Equip me, Lord. Give me a spirit of boldness to approach the people You put on my heart to share the message of salvation. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen!

Make a list of people or groups of people who are in your circle of influence who do not know Jesus as their personal savior. Consider saying the following prayer for these people daily and listen to what the Lord would have you do for them. It may be to share the message of salvation with them. It may be to pray for them on a daily basis. It may be showing them the love of Christ through your actions when you are around them. Be obedient to whatever God puts on your heart in this area.

Salvation Prayer for People in Your Circle of Influence

I thank You, Lord, first and foremost for my salvation. I am truly blessed that I am saved. God, I lift up [name, group of ames] to You, Lord. I pray for their salvation. God, I pray that You soften their hearts and open their eyes and their ears to You, Lord. God, I pray that You place people in their lives who will share the gospel message with them. Lord, I pray that if I am to be one of those people to share Your message with them that You show me that, Lord. I thank You in advance for giving me the words to speak to them. I thank You in advance for providing the perfect timing to share Your message. I thank You, Lord, that they are receptive to hear what You would have me say and that You are preparing their hearts right now in Jesus’ name. Lord, I thank You for the work you are doing in [name, group of names] life (lives). I thank You, Lord, that You hold [him, her, them], in the palm of Your hand. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen!
