What We Believe
We believe it’s much easier to believe than it is not to believe — we’ve seen too much not to believe! You don’t have to be a certain age, race, color, nationality or of a certain religious background or social status to be a believer and a receiver. We believe everyone who is called has a responsibility to be a witness, or messenger, sharing the Word with people all around the world.

| GOD | We believe there is one God that exists in three persons — God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that God is greater than anyone or anything in the world.

| JESUS CHRIST | We believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. We believe that He is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe that He lived a life in the flesh, and because of this, He knows our pain and understands our weaknesses and temptations. We believe that Jesus was crucified, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and was raised from the dead on the third day.
We believe that He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father as our Intercessor. We believe that in order to go to Father God, we must go through Jesus — He is our Intercessor. It is through Jesus that we have a relationship with God the Father. Scriptures >> |
| HOLY SPIRIT | We believe in the Holy Spirit. We believe that He is a genius and if we invite Him, He lives inside us. We believe that He is a gentleman and will not impose His will upon us, but He is always with us whenever we need Him and call upon Him. We believe we should always yield to the Holy Spirit when prompted (in obedience and submission to God.

| THE BIBLE | We believe the Bible is the literal, infallible and complete Word of God. We believe that it was written by people inspired by the Holy Spirit. We believe the events documented in the Bible actually happened and are historically correct and factual. The Bible is the one authority on which we base our lives.

| THE BLOOD OF JESUS
BLOOD-BOUGHT RIGHT |
We believe that Jesus shed His blood on the cross and that He died for our sins so that we might live. We do not deserve it; we can’t do anything to earn or buy it. It is a free gift.

| FAITH | We believe in mountain-moving faith.

| SALVATION | We believe that everyone has a blood-bought right to have a personal relationship with Jesus, not because of what we’ve done but because God offers this free gift to us. We believe there is a God-shaped hole in everyone’s heart that can only be filled by accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. This can be done by praying the prayer of salvation, admitting we are sinners, believing that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and confessing that He is the Lord of our lives. | WATER BAPTISM
|
We believe in water baptism by immersion because Jesus was water baptized and He is our example.

| HOLY COMMUNION
|
We believe in taking communion regularly as a reminder of what Jesus did for us on the cross. We believe that bread is the representation of Jesus’ body, broken for our sins. We believe that the fruit of the vine is the representation of the new covenant, the precious blood of Jesus that was shed to cleanse us of our sins.

| SPEAKING IN TONGUES

We believe that speaking in tongues, as the Spirit gives us utterance, is evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit.

| DIVINE HEALING
|
We believe in divine dealing — that He sent His Word and healed us and that by His stripes we are healed. We believe that, in the name of Jesus, we can lay hands on the sick and they will be healed: physically, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally.

|
We believe that every believer has the same authority that Jesus had to perform miracles.

| WALKING IN LOVE
|
We believe that we are to “put on love” and walk in love continually in our daily lives with everyone we come into contact with. We believe Jesus is our perfect example of walking in love.

|
We believe the devil is real. We believe he is a liar and a deceiver and that he roams the earth seeking whom he might steal, kill or destroy.

| SECOND COMING
|
We believe that Jesus will return and take those who have received Him as Lord and Savior to heaven for eternity.

| ETERNITY
|
We believe that there is life after death. After we no longer have life in our mortal bodies, we believe that our glorified bodies will spend the rest of time with the Lord in heaven. We believe that every choice we make on earth affects how we will spend eternity.

| OBEDIENCE
|
We believe it is very important to be obedient to the Word of God. We believe that if we fully obey the Lord and carefully follow His commands, He will set us high above all the nations of the earth, and blessing will come upon us if we obey His Word.
